Having lived in the mid-west most of my life I have experienced major hail storms like this. The worst was in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The hail dented up the family sedan, knocked out mirrors and tail lights. Stripped all the trees of their leaves it was quiet the storm. We gathered up some of the golf ball sized hail stones and put them in the freezer as a reminder to clean out the garage so the car would fit in case of another hail storm. Be careful.
