A 14-year-old boy is recovering after being attacked by a 9-foot alligator at a pond in central Florida.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) said the alligator bit the boy on his hand and leg in Charlotte County Tuesday afternoon.
The boy went to the hospital for treatment.
A trapper captured and removed the gator, which measured 9-feet, 9-inches long.
