Famous People With The Super High SAT Scores

Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman’s college admissions scandal has dominated the headlines, and we can’t help but wonder… just how many famous people are too cool for school?

It turns out that quite a few stars have aced their SAT’s, or gotten pretty close. Radar Online has the list… and some of them may surprise you! Here are the SAT scores of 17 celebrities, with 1600 being a perfect score:

Ben Affleck: The Oscar-winning actor attended the University of Vermont & Occidental College… and supposedly scored a perfect 1600 on his SATs.

Will Smith: The actor said in his Biography channel profile that he scored 1600 on his SATs, too. But instead of moving on to higher education, he pursued a career in music before scoring his iconic small-screen role as “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”... and the rest is history.

James Franco: The actor is no stranger to higher education – heck, he once attended three universities at the same time. Since he loves school so much, it’s not that hard to believe rumors that he also got a perfect score on his SATs.

Paul Allen: The late Microsoft co-founder and owner of the Seattle Seahawks also scored a perfect 1600 on his SATS, according to powerscore.com. But even so, he ended up dropping out of Washington State University.

Bill Gates: As for Allen’s counterpart, Gates scored just under his Microsoft co-founder with 1590. And similarly, he also dropped out… of Harvard. We don’t feel bad for the guy, though, things turned out just fine for the second-richest man in the world!

James Woods: The actor got a scholarship to attend the prestigious university MIT after scoring an impressive 1579 on his SATs, which he revealed during his appearance on “Inside The Actors Studio.” He also claims to have an IQ of 180.

Ke$ha: The pop star could have picked and chosen just about any college with her high SAT score of 1500… but she answered when the music called, dropping out of high school just before graduating.

Natalie Portman: The Oscar-winning actress got into Harvard, so it’s no secret that she’s got smarts. Portman reportedly scored an impressive 1400 on her SATs.

Darren Aronofsky: Like Portman, the “Black Swan” director also went to Harvard – not surprising considering his solid SATs score of 1360!

Al Gore: Besides once being the Vice President of the United States, Gore also boasts scoring 1355 on his SATs and getting into Harvard. His roommate? None other than Tommy Lee Jones.

Stephen King: The man’s written countless classics, so it’s not surprising that he’s got a big brain up there. The author reportedly scored 1300 on his SATs, which got him into the University of Maine.

Meredith Vieira: The journalist launched her successful career after getting into Tufts University, with a little help from her solid SAT score of 1300.

Jesse Eisenberg: The actor played the creator of Facebook himself, Mark Zuckerberg, in “The Social Network,” and it turns out he’s also got a brain for knowing. He reportedly scored a solid 1260 on his SATs, which got him into The New School.

Derek Jeter: His thing is Baseball, but he’s not just in physical shape – he’s got a well-exercised brain, too. He reportedly scored 1200 on his SATs, getting him into the prestigious University of Michigan.
