FedEx Worker Saves The Day Finding Bride’s Dress Day Of Wedding

FedEx Delivers Packages As Holiday Shopping Season Continues

A FedEx worker over in Tampa saved the day for a bride in need. Pickup and delivery manager Anthony Carvajal found out her custom-made wedding dress was in transit and it wasn’t supposed to be delivered until Monday, two days after her Saturday nuptials.

He says he had to “exhaust all options” because “she can’t get married without her dress.”

After three to four hours of searching a trailer, he found the dress and called the groom to pick it up, just in time for the wedding. “I don’t know what she would’ve done if I hadn’t found that package,” Carvajal says, “but I wasn’t going to let that be an option.” FedEx is honoring his efforts with the “Purple Promise” award, which recognizes employees who go above and beyond, and he definitely did!
