It’s one thing to catch a home run at a ballgame, it’s entirely another to catch one while you’re taking video of yourself making the catch!
That’s what happened during a college game between Dallas Baptist and Virginia. In the third inning, a homer went way over the wall in left-center field. That’s where a young glove-wearing fan was standing, and already running video for whatever reason, and caught the ball…with the video to prove it.
Fortunately, the quick-thinking ESPNU producers were able to get the video from the fan, and share it with everyone at home.
